More information regarding Digital Delivery:
I offer a discount for music that will be distributed digitally over the internet or
for those who only need the mastered audio files. Unless otherwise specified, your
mastered data files will be sent to digitally in .wav format. Other formats are also available.
If you have any questions about our rates, please feel free to contact me.
Why do you charge extra for master CD-Rs?
When preparing a master for release on a tangible medium (a CD),
it's just more work and more time. The Master CD-R must be properly sequenced,
coded, burned, and then listened to in real-time for errors. Since digital delivery
does not involve a physical media, there is less time involved and therefore it is a
less expensive process.
Vinyl Mastering
I now offer two ways to master for vinyl:
1. If you are getting your vinyl pressed by a plant who accepts
CDR "Vinyl Pre-Masters" the CD mastering rates apply. If you are
getting CD duplicated/replicated in addition to get vinyl records, i can give
you a separate "for vinyl only" master for only an extra $5/track.
2. Having a Master Lacquer cut of your music. This process is a tad more expensive
and time consuming, but gives you the best sounding vinyl possible.
Short run 7" vinyl pressing may also be available, please contact me
for more information.
Stem Mastering -$125/hr
Stem Mastering is a little more time consuming so i charge an hourly rate.
The average track mastered from stems takes 45 minutes. For more information about
stem mastering, click here.
transfers - $125/hr (minimum 1 hour)
I also can also do digital transfers, direct analog transfers, or
format conversions of your cassette tapes, reel to reel tapes and vinyl records.
Restoration $125/hr (minimum 1/2 hour)
Noise removal from audio recordings is also available.
Payment:
Full payment is required before the final master is delivered.
I accept credit cards, checks, paypal, and of course cash.
You can pay anytime by visiting my payment page.
